Description
I pass this particular barn regularly and have made a painting of it earlier focusing on the beautiful sycamore tree beside it. This time, what struck me was the sycamore's shadow wrapping around the cylindrical shape of the shorter silo. This painting has a lot of crisp, clean lines and sharp edges in stark contrast to the soft edged meandering lines of the shadow. I think that juxtaposition works and makes the painting interesting to look at.
