Description
In star date KB.3 in a galaxy far way, solar systems are considered nation states. As in the year 2016 on Earth, nations are constantly at war over minerals, technological developments, etc. International wars, then are actually contests between whole solar systems. In this painting I have tried to show the signs of turmoil and strife that exist in this galaxy as the beautiful blue field representing space itself is cracking and bending and rusting. The large pink shape represents one of the inhabited planets becoming rusted and shadowed and misshapen under the pressure of this constant strife.
Whoa?! Actually this is a very realistic painting of the right front fender section of a 1947 KB.3 International pick-up truck!
I like the first story better. How about you?
